About Ian

Ian Miller is a St. Louis-born, New York-based singer-songwriter whose writing reaches across genres, drawing from folk rock, funk, gospel, soul, and the storytelling-through-song of musical theater. At times bold and energizing, at times intimate and contemplative, Ian’s music speaks to longing and liminal space—“the now and the not yet” of being alive.

His first EP, In Between, was released in the spring of 2020, and his full-length album, Threshold, came out in spring 2024. Ian was selected to participate in the 2020 Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project and has participated in residencies from the Lopud Foundation, the BringAbout, and the Catwalk Art Residency.
